Nqaba Mkwananzi leads the EY’s consulting business in Zimbabwe as well as the country‘s Markets function. He has led the growth of Zimbabwe’s consulting practice to include services such as technology consulting and has overseen Zimbabwe’s response to Mandatory Audit Firm Rotation.
He has over 23 years professional experience of which 15 have been in consulting across governance, risk and control helping clients in a wide range of industries including banking, insurance, mining, manufacturing, and telecoms.
He has led numerous Consulting projects, including cross-border engagements, for clients in Technology, Mining, Banking & Insurance, Retail and Manufacturing and also supported many transactions. Nqaba is a dynamic, adaptable, resilient and forward thinking leader with a passion for driving growth through nurturing client relationships and helping clients solve complex challenges.
Nqaba is a Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) and holds an MPhil in corporate strategy from Univeristy of Pretoria and is a certified ISO31000 Risk Manager and Certified Fraud Examiner. Nqaba is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe (IODZ).
