Our Business Experience Programme also known as EY Uncovered affords students and learners the opportunity to develop skills such as teamwork, interpersonal, communication and basic auditing skills. We ensure that students are adequately equipped to tackle the business world. We also assist students identify their skills and competencies from a range of assessment techniques, which will help enhance their potential as effective team members within a professional services organisation.
This three-day programme offers students an opportunity to learn more about EY, the services lines and client portfolios. Students who experience our working environment and then return to their academic studies find their studies more relevant as they can relate it to their working experience. We offer the business experience programme to university undergraduate students studying towards a CA(SA) qualification and high school learners with Mathematics as one of their subjects.
The University EY Uncovered is hosted twice a year for students studying towards a CA(SA) qualification. The programme is hosted annually during the June/July winter recess (applications open from 1 April – 30 April) and in November/December after final exams (applications open 1 September – 30 September).
Requirements:
To participate you will need to be enrolled for a BCom Accounting degree or an equivalent CA(SA) undergraduate qualification at a SAICA accredited university. This programme is open to all undergraduate students.
The High School EY Uncovered is hosted twice a year and learners who are in Grades 11 and 12 are invited to apply. The programme is hosted during the March/April holidays and during the September/October holidays. If you would like your school to be part of the programme, click here.
