York joined the EY organization in Shanghai in 2006 and his primary experience is in financial advisory, corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, leveraged finance and distressed investing. York has led a broad range of financial audit, financial due diligence, domestic and overseas M&A and restructuring, plus debt resolution projects for many Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and local governments. Between 2010 and 2012, he was relocated to London, which enhanced his international working background and experiences.
York was one of the leading partners and holds an administrator role in China’s largest reorganization case – the HNA Group bankruptcy and reorganization. In this role he has successfully demonstrated his ability to help all parties including debtors, lenders, and investors to achieve their strategic and financial goals in distressed situations.
York is a CPA in China, holding a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering. He also serves on the Audit Committee of City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan).
