Katarzyna is a Senior Manager in Strategy and Transactions team of EY. She joined the firm in 2021.
Katarzyna has significant advisory experience in SPA (Sale and Purchase Agreement), Transaction Advisory Services, financial accounting and dispute services in Poland and the UK. Since becoming a SPA specialist Katarzyna has advised on over 70 deals working for both Sellers and Buyers covering cash free debt free deals including Locked Box and Completion Accounts.
She specializes in pre- and post-signing advice on pricing of deals and on financial aspects of SPAs to corporate and private equity buyers and sellers. She advises her clients on: selecting an appropriate pricing mechanism; the negotiations around what price adjustments should be made; the accounting aspects of the SPA; and, assisting with the preparation or review of completion accounts and any subsequent disputes.
Prior to specialising on pricing and SPA advice she has gained experience providing financial due diligence to private equity and large corporations in the UK and Poland.
Katarzyna is a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and is in the process of obtaining Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualifications.
She is an author of a number of articles on M&A and is actively involved in delivering SPA related workshops.
