It is with great sorrow that we lost our dear friend and colleague Renata Hayder on November 9, 2024. We will remember her as an extraordinary person who attracted others with her kindness and big heart. She was the mother of two wonderful daughters and grandmother of four grandchildren. Renata was a mentor to many of us and an expert who was highly valued by clients.
After her retirement, Renata became the leader of the EY Foundation in Poland which supports children and teenagers in foster families with programs that increase their chances of a happy life. This great commitment of Renata's has already resulted in many straightened paths for the Foundation's wards and will bring many more good things in the future. Retirement also allowed her to enjoy time with her daughters, grandchildren and friends.
A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Renata was a partner in Poland's first consulting firm, Pro Invest. She co-founded Arthur Andersen and was one of the individuals responsible for the merger of Arthur Andersen and EY in Poland. Her professional and leadership talents resulted in building the Tax Advisory business at both Andersen and EY. Renata was recognized as one of the leading tax and business experts in Poland. She was valued for her exceptional knowledge and integrity. Many of today's professionals at EY and in many companies in Poland are beneficiaries of Renata's leadership.
Our deepest sympathies go out to her daughters and family.
We will miss her greatly.
