EY Polska provided financial advisory to Sunly in debt financing

The Capital & Debt Advisory (“CDA”) team of EY Polska led by Ewa Mochocka provided financial advisory services to Sunly SA in the debt financing process.

Sunly, a renewable energy developer active in Poland and the Baltic States, has secured long term financing together with DSR Facility from mBank S.A. for the construction of a portfolio of PV farms with a total capacity of 98MW. Commissioning of these projects will increase the Group's portfolio of operational projects to over 260 MW.

It was a pleasure to support Sunly in the competitive process of obtaining financing for a complex multi-entity structure, which enabled us to show our expertise in RES market, says Ewa Mochocka, Partner, Capital & Debt Advisory, SaT Poland.

The extensive corporate and operational structure, which consisted of portfolio under construction, but also newly developed projects, that were outside the financing structure, required an open-minded and collaborative approach of all parties involved. This makes the experience even more rewarding, says Aleksandra Kerner, Manager, Capital & Debt Advisory, SaT Poland.
