Ove is a partner in Guernsey and provides assurance services to funds and companies in the wealth and asset management and banking sectors.
He has a wealth of experience in working with listed financial services groups and communicating with regulators in different jurisdictions. Within alternatives funds, his portfolio includes infrastructure, private equity, real estate and funds of funds.
Originally from Denmark, Ove joined the EY Copenhagen office in 2001 and has since served a variety of companies within the financial services industry. In 2012, he was seconded to EY’s Guernsey office for two years and then returned again in 2016 permanently.
Ove is an ICAS Chartered Accountant as well as a State Authorized Public Accountant in Denmark. He also holds a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing from the Copenhagen Business School.
How Ove is building a better working world
Ove is an advocate of diversity and equality for everyone. As a keen sportsman himself, he actively seeks to make all sports accessible and inclusive. He led EY support of the Pride in Sport campaign in Guernsey, which raises awareness of the discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning people in sporting environments and seeks to eradicate homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
