Francis is responsible for the delivery of a number of assurance engagements across banking and asset management. His role focuses on EY local sustainable finance offering and strengthening the firm's FinTech capabilities within the Channel Islands.
He has worked on banking, brokerage and market infrastructure clients under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and ISAs (UK), AICPA, PCAOB auditing standards.
Francis joined the EY London Banking & Capital Markets team in 2010, after training as an accountant in Reading. Francis then seconded to the EY professional Capital Markets team and worked with several clients to raise capital via debt and equity listing.
On returning to Banking & Capital Markets assurance, he led the EY UK Fintech Blockchain and Crypto group. He relocated from London to the EY Jersey office in 2020.
Francis holds an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and a postgraduate degree in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the University of Reading.
