Shankar’s expertise is broad and deep, with a particular focus on large scale banking transformations, IT and digital strategies, digital banking innovations, digital public infrastructure development, post-merger integration and core banking system implementations. Shankar is widely acknowledged for his commitment to driving business transformation, ensuring that technology and strategy are aligned with the needs and well-being of individuals at the core of the enterprise.
Before his EY tenure, Shankar was the Managing Director of the financial services operating group of a leading global professional services firm. He was also an Executive Director at the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC). His academic credentials include an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, which underpin his strategic and technical acumen.
