Markus is a Partner in the EY-Parthenon Strategy team based in Düsseldorf. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry and worked for several leading strategy consulting firms prior to joining the EY organization.
He focuses on biopharma, pharma and medtech clients as well as PE firms and supported them in strategy development and transactions.
Based on his 24+ years of experience in strategy consulting, he has deep experience across a broad range of topics covering corporate and growth strategy, commercial strategy, portfolio strategy, buy and sell side commercial due diligences, target searches and helping clients to find investors.
Markus has made a positive impact for many leading global pharma, biopharma and medtech clients by helping them to define their growth strategy and achieve their growth ambitions. In this respect, he also guided them in the identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets to drive their inorganic growth agenda.
