EY advises OX2 on wind and solar portfolio divestment to Ingka Investments

EY’s Energy Corporate Finance team acted as M&A advisor to OX2 on the divestment of an onshore wind and solar portfolio in Poland to Ingka Investments.

On Tuesday 31 May 2022, it was announced that OX2 has sold Wysoka wind farm and Recz solar farm in Poland to Ingka Investments.

Recz solar farm is the first solar farm OX2 has developed and sold and once commissioned, it will have an installed capacity of 29 MW. The Wysoka wind farm will have an installed capacity of 63 MW.

The buyer, Ingka Investments, is the investment arm of Ingka Group, the world’s largest IKEA franchise. OX2 has previously sold eight wind farms to Ingka Group.

EY Corporate Finance supported OX2 across the transaction as M&A advisor while also providing debt advisory and PPA advisory services to OX2, once again demonstrating EY’s capabilities to deploy multidisciplinary cross-border transaction teams with deep sector expertise to drive a highly competitive auction process with global investor interest.
