As the EY Americas Vice Chair for Finance & Operations, Bill oversees all financial and operational aspects of the EY organization in the Americas. He makes key decisions on strategic investments, enablement, expense management and building our culture.
Prior to his current role, Bill served as the EY Americas Assurance Deputy Vice Chair, overseeing all aspects of the Americas Assurance strategy. Bill was also the Houston office managing partner from 2017 to 2020, leading offices of nearly 1,800 employees and partners, cultivating an inclusive culture of high performance and competing in the market to deliver the firm’s full capabilities.
With 30 years of experience, Bill has worked with numerous large companies on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, debt and equity issuances, equity method investments and IT system conversions.
He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University.
