Barend Van Doorn advises enterprises on all their strategic commercial questions. For example: How do we stay relevant in the future? What is our company's purpose and why should we have one? What are our long-term goals and which core values underpin them?

Barend Van Doorn is a driven and results-oriented person, but also a people person. "EY approach centers on showing the way, teaming up, and taking the initiative. EY teams provide insights and assist in implementations, but I'm never satisfied until a client is strong enough to do it alone."

He has a degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master's from Northwestern University in Chicago and Antwerp Business School. He also completed the International Director’s Program at Insead. Before joining EY in 2016 he held various management and board positions, including being a member of the Dutch Board of Directors at Accenture. Currently, he is also president of Handelssociëteit Utrecht, a business club.
