Are you part of the next generation of women in Strategy and Transactions?

The EY NextGen Women in Strategy and Transactions case competition will take place 8 April 2025 and will be held at EY’s office in Copenhagen. During the day, you will be challenged to think critically in cooperation with other women, where you will solve a strategy and transactions case and present your solution to a jury. A selection of participants will be challenged with an individual case to identify the winner that will compete in the Global final. The global final will take place in autumn 2025 at a to-be-announced date and location. The day will culminate with an award ceremony and networking dinner with representatives from the Strategy and Transactions team.

What the event day looks like

The event will be a full day from 10:00 to 20:00. Throughout the day, you will participate in various activities designed to challenge you and get to know the other women, as well as give you an idea of what a career in EY's Strategy and Transactions can offer. You will have a presentation of the teams and opportunities in Strategy and Transactions, and work in groups to solve a 2-hour case. Lunch and dinner will be provided, along with snacks throughout the event to keep everyone energized.

Before the event, participants will receive light pre-read material containing information about the day, schedule, and other important details to help you prepare.

Prize

Winning the Danish EY NextGen Women case competition, you will represent Denmark in the global case competition of EY NextGen Women alongside talented women from around the world. Additionally, the Danish winner will have a unique opportunity for an exclusive career conversation with a Danish Strategy and Transactions leader to discuss your profile and career aspirations, exploring the exciting opportunities within EY's Strategy and Transactions. The winner will also receive a three-month mentorship with a female Strategy and Transactions Partner from London.

Who is the competition for?

The EY NextGen Women case competition is open to women currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree at university level or equivalent, as well as those who are early in their careers. This competition is particularly beneficial for individuals interested in exploring a future in Strategy and Transactions.

About EY NextGen Women in Strategy and Transactions

The first phase of the competition takes place in local countries. Finalists are challenged to think critically as they undertake both group and individual challenges. The country winners are invited to attend the global final. They work together to solve a case study, culminating with the announcement of the EY NextGen Women global winning team.
