Antonis Karaolis

Antonis is a fully qualified member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2011, having graduated in law (LLB with honours) from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom in 2010. He is fluent in Greek and English. Antonis has worked for 10 years and was a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial department of a medium-sized Law firm in Cyprus before Koukounis, Karaolis LLC │ EY Law, a regulated Cyprus law firm and a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited. He is currently a Director and is the Head of the Corporate and Digital Law Department, managing a team of lawyers involved with corporate and digital law related matters.

Antonis specialises in corporate law and advises on both legal and commercial matters. He has advised clients in relation to various international transactions including restructuring, acquisitions and cross-border mergers and has participated in the legal implementation of such transactions.

He has experience in Banking and Corporate Finance law and protection of Intellectual Property, including the registration of trademarks in Cyprus, the European Union and other jurisdictions. He also has extensive experience in setting up Trusts and drafting commercial agreements.

Antonis also has extensive experience in matters pertaining to Cyprus Company law and corporate governance of Cyprus Companies.

Furthermore, he maintains close proximity to Information Technology matters and follows current trends and developments in the IT industry. He is very conversant in a vast spectrum of matters relating to IT and has expertise in dealing with the legal aspects of related ventures and businesses.
