Andria obtained an LLB (Hons) from the University of Warwick and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University College London (UCL). As a member of Gray’s Inn, she became a Barrister-at-Law after being called to the Bar of England and Wales. She trained at the European Commission (DG Consumer Protection) based in Luxembourg and then became a qualified lawyer and member of the Cyprus Bar Association in 2009.
Andria is heading the Financial Services, Funds and Capital Markets’ department of our firm. She is an experienced banking and finance law practitioner with a particular focus on commercial transactions, project financing and restructuring deals.
She regularly advises financial institutions on legal and regulatory issues and represents them in contentious proceedings.
Andria has extensive experience in establishing Alternative Investment Funds and representing regulated entities during the licensing stage and throughout their operations. She is also frequently engaged in providing legal advisory services to international asset managers active in a number of jurisdictions through the passporting regime.
Andria holds the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Advanced Certificate and is fluent in Greek and English, and conversational in French and German.
