Christina Beja
Brings a unique perspective to the team with over twenty years of corporate and development real estate experience working on the owner side, leveraging large complex real estate portfolios.
Christina has extensive experience in providing real estate advisory services to both the private and public sector coupled with a strong management acumen. Prior to joining EY in August 2017, Christina was Senior Vice President leading the Realty Portfolio Planning group at Infrastructure Ontario, an organization instrumental in providing wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiatives in modernizing and maximizing the value of public infrastructure and real estate. While at IO, Christina was responsible for driving and overseeing teams focused on strategy, planning and reinvestment, including balancing supply and demand of the portfolio, identifying future needs, and developing a pipeline of divestment properties.
She is an active member of CoreNet’s Canadian Chapter and served on the Board. She is part of the Inaugural Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Team and has served as the Chair of the National Executive Forum on Public Property. More recently served as an Advisor for the Centre for Urban Research and Land Development (CUR) Ryerson University. She leads an active life with her husband and daughter in the east end of Toronto Beaches neighborhood, but also refers fondly to home as Montreal and Lisbon.
Since arriving at EY, Christina has helped clients with similar large, diverse and complex portfolios to achieve optimal results around their real estate interests through portfolio planning and divestment strategies, property data analysis and prioritization of capital needs, looking at their long-term accommodation plans together with workplace strategies and help validate and support major capital decisions around legacy investments such as transit- oriented development.
