Ivaylo Kolev is a Partner in the Assurance department of EY Bulgaria. He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of audit at national and international companies from different industry sectors with focus on industrial, energy, electronics sector, and automotive.
Ivaylo is experienced in IFRS reporting and controls testing and proving recommendations to the clients concerning the implementation of effective internal control environment and appropriate accounting policies.
Ivaylo has facilitated various internal, soft and audit skills trainings as well as external trainings on various IFRS matters and presentations for clients on specific audit/accounting areas. He is an IFRS 15 Expert and a member of the CESA Practice Director team.
Ivaylo holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National & World Economics in Bulgaria. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA) in Bulgaria since 2010. Furthermore, he is a member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2008.
