Evguenia Tzenova is a Partner in the Tax department of EY Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo. She has more than 20 years of experience in the accountancy and international taxation fields.
Evguenia joined Ernst & Young in 1999. Before joining EY, she was Head of Division in the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance in the General Tax Directorate. She became Associate Partner in 2019.
Evguenia has wide experience in compliance and advisory tax services related to various industries, such as insurance, banking, manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, distribution, pharmaceuticals, and more.
She has managed many projects for the provision of corporate income tax advisory and compliance services. She has extensive experience in tax due diligences and transaction tax projects. Evguenia is also leading transfer pricing projects on large Bulgarian subsidiaries of international companies.
Evguenia holds a PhD in Economics from the National University of World and National Economics, Bulgaria. She is also delivering lectures on tax audit procedures in the Sofia World and National Economics University and during various national and international workshops.
