COP30 is poised to be a pivotal moment in securing climate progress. Its focus will center on achieving the COP President – Designate’s three key objectives of strengthening multilateralism, connecting climate talks to the reality of business and people, and advancing structural adjustments beyond the Climate Convention to accelerate the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Additionally, the urgent need for updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) from all 196 signatories of the UNFCCC will be a center point of the discussion. Climate finance, energy and nature will also be high on the agenda and, as organizations navigate geopolitical challenges and evolving sustainability regulations, COP30 represents a crucial opportunity to turn climate commitments into action.

With the private sector key to implementation, EY teams convene key stakeholders across government, public and private sectors to address the opportunities, challenges and action we must take to shape a future where business, people and planet thrive.
