EY Armenia Hosted IFRS Update 2024 Session in Yerevan for IFRS Professionals

On October 30th, EY Armenia hosted the annual IFRS Update 2024 session in Yerevan, bringing together IFRS accountants and specialists to discuss the latest International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) updates. The interactive session was led by Dmytro Iurgelevych, EY Assurance Partner, who shared critical updates applicable to 2024 and future reporting periods, along with practical insights into the application of certain IFRS standards.

The agenda covered essential IFRS updates for 2024 and beyond, including amendments to IAS 1, introduction to IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements, new requirements for supplier finance disclosures, climate-related and other uncertainties and other topics.

Participants engaged actively, taking part in a session quiz where winners received EY-branded prizes, adding an engaging dimension to the day.

We have applied to the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia (CAEAA) to have this training categorized as Continuous Professional Development (CPD), giving attendees the opportunity to earn recognized development credits.
