Aamer has over 20 years of experience in managing indirect taxes globally. Prior to joining EY, he was responsible for managing global Indirect Taxes for a FTSE 100 business. He has worked with clients across many sectors supporting them in driving value through indirect taxes and support on strategy on indirect taxes, through development of internal governance framework, structures and policy protocols. He has also advised client on supply chain reorganization, M&A activity and implementation of technology to support on VAT management.
As the MENA Indirect Tax leader for EY, he is responsible for indirect tax teams across 10+ countries, leading the pace of change taking place in the indirect tax landscape in the region.
