Neil is a partner at Ernst & Young Ireland, in Global Trade who is highly experienced in providing strategic trade services to the firm’s key global accounts and at advising on global customs affairs.
His work has included strategic supply chain planning, trade-related global cost reduction and compliance programs and providing digitally supported trade analytics to some of the world’s leading companies across a diverse range of sectors.
Before taking on his current role, Neil spent six years in Moscow advising clients on indirect tax issues affecting their businesses across the emerging markets in EMEIA before returning to Ireland to establish indirect tax services across the globe. He was also the EY Global Tax Leader for the Life Sciences industry sector.
The lead partner at Ernst & Young Ireland, Neil was also founder and chair of the firm’s bi-annual global Strategic Trade Life Sciences event and EY Global Tax leader for Life Sciences.

An Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, Neil has successfully help implemented customs projects for companies across multiple countries in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, energy, technology and automotive sectors.
