Fungai is a returner to EY. Prior to this, Fungai led the Government Incentives and Finance Raising team at Cova Advisory and Associates.

Before joining Cova, she was part of the Deloitte Incentives Team

She is also a former financial accounting lecturer and has at least 10 years of experience in government grants and tax incentives.

Fungai is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holding degrees in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg as well as an Advanced Financial Modelling certificate.
