Michael is a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, with a focus on clients in the Life Sciences space. Currently, Michael is serving as the EY Global Client Service Partner for a major global life science client, which has been the primary focus of his work.
In his role, Michael has regular interaction and exchange with various client leaders. Prior to his current role, Michael served in the business unit of Strategy & Transactions, with a focus on Financial Due Diligence and supporting large, global transaction processes for both acquisitions and divestments.
In his first years at EY, he focused on audit projects, and in this period he also completed the WP/CPA exam and became a StB/certified tax advisor. Michael is passionate about new business models and commercial viability, the latest digital tech (like VR and AR) and global affairs and history. He holds a master's degree in Economics from the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.
How Michael is building a better working world
Michael has joined initiatives to overcome excessive plastics use globally, one of the world’s largest problems of this time. Building a better working world, on top of leading projects with his clients in the sustainability area, is for him a key factor as a father of three kids.
