Ms. Susan Chong is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to sustainability and innovation in agricultural technology.

As founder and CEO of Greenphyto Pte. Ltd., an agri-tech startup established in 2014, she leads efforts to secure sustainable food supplies through advanced, automated and climate-resilient farming solutions. Under her leadership, Greenphyto is set to launch one of the world’s largest and tallest controlled environment agriculture facilities in Singapore.

Before founding Greenphyto, Ms. Chong established Greenpac Pte. Ltd. in 2002, transforming the industrial packaging sector with eco-friendly, cost-effective solutions. Her pioneering work grew Greenpac from a solo venture into a multimillion-dollar enterprise, serving Fortune 500 clients and earning over 50 industry awards and certifications.

Ms. Chong’s contributions have garnered numerous accolades including the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 - Sustainable Packaging Solutions and Woman of the Year 2019 by HER WORLD Singapore. She also made history as the first Asian woman finalist in the World Economic Forum’s Circular Economy Leadership (2017).

Beyond her entrepreneurial achievements, Ms. Chong actively contributes to society by serving on the boards of several government, business and civic organizations, including the National Environment Agency and SkillsFuture Singapore.
