Gain insights on how legal departments are innovating amid ongoing disruption.
We would like to invite you to an invitation-only, interactive roundtable discussion on the findings of the 2025 EY Law General Counsel Study: How legal departments are innovating with confidence in times of disruption. This study was conducted in collaboration with Oxford Economics and involved more than 1,000 General Counsel and Chief Legal Officers.
The study is one of the largest and most holistic studies of legal departments completed in recent years with respondents from 21 countries and seven primary industry groups. The Study explores how legal departments are innovating amid ongoing disruption, particularly in relation to:
- Legal department operating strategy
- Risk and governance
- Technology, data and process
- Sourcing
- Talent
As part of this study, EY teams have also conducted personal interviews with General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers to better understand the variety of disruptors and pressures facing legal departments and the steps they are taking to evolve and innovate.
