On 12 January 2023, it was published in the Official Gazette no. 39 Decision no. 12 for the amendment of Government Decision no. 1.074/2021 regarding the establishment of the guarantee-return system for non-reusable primary packaging (“GRS”).
What are the main changes introduced by the new Decision?
Among the most important changes of the Decision, we mention the following:
- Producers and traders have the obligation to register in the GRS by the deadline of 28 February 2023;
- The GRS registration procedure is established by the GRS administrator and made available on its own website.
On the website of the designated GRS administrator https://returosgr.ro, the registration procedure for both producers and traders was published.
