Ann-Kristin leads our Nordic Risk Consulting Practice. In her role she combines deep Risk knowledge and experience with technical understanding enabling clients to transform the way they work with and handle risk and uncertainty. In today’s rapidly changing landscape technology plays a key role to succeed with an efficient risk management practice – across companies as well as within specific areas such as third parties and vendors, investment projects, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.

She has worked with EY since 2007 and has deep understanding of technical challenges. Ann-Kristin specializes in the Risk domain, and has extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance – both from a holistic and technical perspective. She has broad experience in internal controls evaluations and transformation processes, where technology typically is an enabler for success. She is a passionate leader, who invests in her clients and teams – motivated by achieving improvements through digitalization, innovation, and collaboration.

Ann-Kristin has a technical background and holds a degree in Electrical& Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland. Prior to joining EY, Ann-Kristin has worked as a systems engineer within the Norwegian Defence Industry focusing on development of communication solutions, and with master data management.
