The employees have owned Jobbnorge since the company was founded in 1991. Today, Jobbnorge has 28 employees and generates more than NOK 70m in revenue. Preserving the company's local roots in Bodø and its cultural identity was crucial in finding a partner that could strengthen its position in the recruitment software market. After conducting a comprehensive evaluation of strategic alternatives, Jobbnorge's shareholders determined that Grade was an ideal, strategic and cultural match.
The Grade is a leading software provider in the Swedish recruitment market and aims to become a significant player in the Nordic region. The company offers various recruitment services that cover the entire employee journey, from job application to onboarding with an employer. The acquisition of Jobbnorge, which has around 400 clients in both the public and private sectors, is expected to strengthen Grade's position in the Norwegian market.
Grade opened its first office in Oslo in September 2022, and its CEO, Rickard Kajson, believes the acquisition of Jobbnorge will help the company strengthen its brand and offering to exist and new customers in Norway. Kajson mentioned that the company would provide integrated solutions for digital reference checks and onboarding, which are in high demand in the Norwegian market..
