Areas of focus

Craig is the EY Global International Tax and Transaction Services Leader and has worked as an advisor to large multinational corporations, start-ups and privately-owned businesses.

With over 25 years of experience, Craig is seasoned in tax issues associated with cross-border M&A, group financing structures, foreign tax credit planning, intellectual property planning, tax treaty planning, taxable and tax-free reorganizations as well as cross-border and domestic financial instruments.

His work with tax directors and financial executives across Europe and the US has helped him bring a unique perspective to cross-border tax issues. Craig is also experienced in Internal Revenue Service (IRS) controversy matters and has represented clients in IRS Appeals.

A member of the Colorado Bar Association as well as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, Craig earned his LLB from the University of Canterbury School of Law and his LLM (Tax) from the University of Denver School of Law.
