Changsoo Kim is dedicated to showcasing the unique allure of Korean fashion — K-fashion — worldwide. With a career that began by introducing the Benetton brand to South Korea in 1992, Changsoo has since cultivated his ambition to transform F&F into a global fashion powerhouse. His innovative approach blends the strengths of Eastern and Western fashion, creating a distinctive style that resonates with consumers across cultures.
Under Changsoo’s leadership, F&F has reimagined Western brands, such as Major League Baseball (MLB), into premium fashion lines that have gained significant traction in Asia. The MLB brand has become a standout success since its South Korean launch in 1997, expanding into key Asian markets, including China. Now, with over 1,500 stores across Asia, MLB is firmly established as Asia’s top fashion brand. This achievement has earned recognition from Goldman Sachs as the highest growth rate among Korean consumer goods in China. It highlights the company’s pioneering digital fashion system that integrates product planning, design and global sourcing.
Changsoo is also passionate about South Korea’s role in globalization, viewing it as a bridge between Eastern and Western values. His commitment to this vision includes a US$3.5m donation he made to support research on Korean management philosophy. Through his work, Changsoo aims to foster a deeper understanding of K-management and advance the global influence of K-fashion.
