Léonard Forestier, the dynamic CEO of Petit Forestier Group, is at the forefront of innovation in cold chain logistics. The company rents and leases refrigerated solutions — vehicles, display units and containers — for the packaging, storage and transport of temperature-sensitive goods. After earning a degree from École Polytechnique, Léonard began his career in infrastructure project financing before he transitioned to portfolio management, where he led French public investment funds. In 2011, he returned to his roots by joining Petit Forestier Group, a company founded by his great-grandfather in 1907.

Since becoming CEO in 2019, Léonard has revitalized the company’s management and family shareholding, solidifying its status as the European leader in refrigerated vehicle leasing and rental. Under his strategic leadership, revenues have surged. Petit Forestier Group now operates in 23 countries and employs 5,900 dedicated staff, all committed to the purpose and growth of the company.

Looking ahead to 2050, Léonard’s key focus is to transition the fleet to alternative energies and minimize environmental impact. He is also developing a connected fleet that uses vehicle data for predictive maintenance. His vision not only aims to enhance quality of life but also to inspire future generations, including his three sons, to embrace sustainability and innovation.
