Fifteen-plus years of experience in the financial services industry. Wealth management and capital markets experience. Striving for a positive footprint, professionally and personally.

Vanessa is a partner in the Consulting practice of EY Luxembourg.

She focuses on banks, private banks and market infrastructure institutions. She advises EY clients to embrace change through fundamental strategic, organizational and operational transformation. She participated in think tanks on innovation for the wealth management and banking sector locally and internationally, striving for a sustainable development of EY clients.

Vanessa is also heading ESG and sustainable finance solutions from a strategic, regulatory and operational perspective.

Before that, Vanessa was the Luxembourg Country Director of a major consulting firm, leading the wealth management and capital markets practices as well.

Vanessa is fluent in French and German and holds a master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France), and a Business Management Master from the ICN Business School (France). She is a Certified Private Banker from the IFBL (Luxembourg).

In one of its latest reports, the European Banking Authority (EBA) has highlighted a surge in impersonation fraud and sophisticated online and social scams, often leveraging new payment methods such as instant payments. As instant payments become widely available, the EBA reports that, back in 2022, fraud rates for instant credit transfers were on average 10 times higher than for regular credit transfers.
