Christian participated over the last 13 years in a large number of Luxembourg business tax compliance and business tax advisory projects for Luxembourg based companies and international groups
Christian is leading Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) projects for a large portfolio of Luxembourg based funds in the Private Equity and Real Estate sector as well as Multinationals (MNE). He is responsible for the preparation of Luxembourg corporate tax returns, withholding tax returns as well as the coordination of the entire reporting cycle including other taxes (e.g. VAT) as well as transparency reporting (e.g. DAC6/MDR, CbCR, FATCA/CRS or other exchange of information requirements)
He worked 6 years in the department Financial Service Offerings before he moved to the GCR department. As of today he still provides tax compliance services for banks, credit institutions and other type of companies in the financial sector
He is experienced in multi-jurisdiction tax compliance engagements, using IT enabled reporting tools (e.g. Financial Managed Services Platform, Global Tax Platform, One Global Methodology) including analytical dashboards (tax data analytics, web based collaborative platforms and electronic filings
Christian has additional experience tax consulting projects, accounting under Lux-GAAP and deferred tax accounting under IFRS.
How Christian is building a better working world
Christian and his GCR team have initiated many social initiatives, which are ultimately due to his commitment to promoting team spirit and cohesion. E.g., they did raise money to support the local organization “Stemm vun der Strooss” – www.stemm.lu – which is supporting homeless people in Luxembourg and during the peak of refugee movements in 2019, they were supporting General Social Welfare Services and distribute clothing.
It is important to Christian that they not only make their contribution to society through the many different activities in the GCR team, but that GCR’s overall image towards the client is not limited to the purely professional.
