The Canadian government announced on December 31, 2022, that all travelers entering Canada from the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong or Macao will once again need to provide proof of a negative molecular COVID-19 test or a negative antigen test. The rule takes effect on January 5. These measures apply to all air travelers regardless of nationality and vaccination status and will be in place for 30 days.
