Elliott is the EY Asia-Pacific Wealth & Asset Management Sector Leader and has been with EY for over 25 years focusing on providing services to the Wealth and Asset Management industry. He has worked with EY member firms in Hong Kong, Australia and the United States and is a member of the EY Global Wealth & Assessment Management Executive Committee. He is currently located in Sydney, Australia after nine years based in Hong Kong.
Bringing a high level of experience, Elliott has deep industry expertise from serving major financial institutions and investment funds in audit, internal control reviews, transaction support and advisory roles. He has also performed reviews over the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control frameworks (ISAE3000, ISAE3402 and SSAE16), including reviews of compliance with the HK SFC’s and MPFA requirements.
Elliott has experience across a broad spectrum of asset classes including private equity, real estate and infrastructure. He currently works with both listed and unlisted entities, including a number of boutique investment managers and their funds.
Elliott earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Registered Company Auditor with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Elliott is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ) and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). He is also a member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Hong Kong Education Committee, having previously served on the Regulatory & Compliance Committee.
