For over 30 years, Walter has advised multinational corporations on inbound and outbound investment strategies, restructuring and overseas expansion. He has supported government authorities on developing investment policies to create a competitive and investment-friendly environment for foreign investors. He is a frequent speaker at domestic and international tax seminars and contributor to international tax journals on China tax development.
Walter obtained his B.Sc and MBA degrees from NYU Stern School of Business. Before moving to Shanghai in 1993, he was a tax consultant with another Big Four in New York. He is CPA qualified in New York State.
