Xiao is a Senior Manager within our Strategy and Transactions practice and is based in the Brussels office.
She joined EY in 2010 in the audit department. In this capacity, she was the lead executive on financial audits of large financial institutions under ECB supervision (including a top tier bank in Amsterdam), responsible for planning, execution, conclusion, communication with regulators, participation in audit committees and relevant meetings with stakeholders. While she was in audit, she assisted and led several due diligence missions and developed an expertise in prudential risk in banking & capital markets and IFRS 9.
She transferred to the Strategy and Transactions department in 2023 and has worked on various due-diligence missions and strategic restructuring assignments in the banking sector, with a focus on prudential risk and strategic restructuring.
Xiao holds a master’s degree in business engineering with a specialization in operations management from Ghent University.
