Nicolas is in charge of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice and the Climate Change and Sustainability Advisory team of EY Belgium.
Nicolas has a broad experience of the CFO role. He started in audit at Arthur Andersen in 2000, then joint JC Decaux as Treasurer (cash forecasting, Rating agency contact, funding…). In 2006, he joint back in audit his colleagues from Arthur Andersen who were acquired by EY in France. During this period post Enron bankruptcy, Nicolas participated to SOX notably in Belgium for a large Power & Utility player.
He moved to Belgium in 2011 and became partner in 2014. He did different projects related to carve out, integration of acquired business, CFO transformation and even CFO ad interim for a scale-up active in the Power & Utility sector (supporting a 50m€ fund raising from private equity and public investments).
Nicolas is graduated as civil engineer from the French High School : École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne. This background together with his finance working experience are the foundations of his passion for transforming organization leveraging the power of Digital and Data analytics.
