Phat is the Transfer Pricing Leader and Partner at EY Consulting Vietnam Joint Stock Company (EY Consulting VN) with over 20 years of accumulated experience.  

Phat focuses on Transfer Pricing (TP) services and he has advised clients in a wide range of TP projects including TP planning and implementation, three-tier documentation, business model restructuring and controversy, including Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs).  

Phat is the author of the current chapter on Tax Treatment of Transfer Pricing in Vietnam published in the Global Transfer Pricing Explorer Plus of the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) and numerous articles in international tax and transfer pricing journals.  

Phat holds a PhD in International Tax Law from Jonkoping International Business School, Sweden. He also has a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Business Law from Groningen University, Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in Laws and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Vietnam. 

He is the Editor Board Member of the Asia Pacific Tax Bulletin (IBFD) and the member of Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and Certified Practising Accountant of Australia (CPA Australia)
