As the EY Global and Americas Financial Services Risk Consulting Leader, Tom helps firms navigate their most complex risk management, regulatory, compliance and control challenges. He has worked with domestic and foreign banks, as well as significant nonbank institutions, advising them on how to protect their enterprises and transform challenges into opportunities for growth and improvement.

With a deep knowledge of board governance, risk appetites, the three lines of defense, enterprise risk management and risk culture, Tom also serves as a global subject-matter advisor and frequently engages in dialogues with board members, chief risk officers, supervisors and industry groups on these topics.

Tom holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from New York University. He has certifications in AI Applications for Growth from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and the EY Sustainable Finance Program from INSEAD Executive Education.

I enjoy bringing together teams with different capabilities, skills and backgrounds to help financial services organizations achieve their strategic priorities in a risk-aware way. The most important thing I can do is coach and empower the next generation of risk management professionals, who will continue to promote a stronger, more stable and more resilient financial services sector.
