Jan Philipp Feigen is a lawyer at Ernst & Young Law GmbH and heads the global Transaction Law practice group as well as the private equity division at Ernst & Young Law GmbH. Prior to joining EY, Jan worked in the private equity practice of Latham & Watkins for many years.
He advises international and national clients on transactions in the area of mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate law matters. His focus is on advising on private equity transactions.
Jan Philipp Feigen studied law in Passau, where he also received his doctorate, and completed his legal clerkship in Hamburg, Munich, Beijing and Los Angeles. He publishes regularly on corporate law topics and is a lecturer at Lund University (Sweden) in the master's program in European Business Law.
