Dan Black

EY Global, Talent Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness Leader

Dan develops and implements strategies to attract, retain and optimize talent at the global EY organization, aligning with organizational goals to drive workforce effectiveness.

Before becoming EY Global Talent Strategy Leader in 2024, he spent 25 years leading the Recruiting and Talent Acquisition functions at EY. Before that, he served as an auditor for financial services clients as a CPA.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University and a Master’s in Human Resources from Fordham University. He advises companies on their talent agendas and is a regular media commentator.  

He is the former president and board member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). He has served on multiple not-for-profit boards and is a top fundraiser for the March of Dimes. 

Dan is a volunteer firefighter for the Archville Fire Department and a coach, referee and supporter of youth sports in his hometown of Sleepy Hollow, NY.
