Andrew Young is the EY Global Technology Industry Lead Analyst. His work focuses on creating new insights and driving thought leadership on topics like the emerging platform economy to improve outcomes for clients across the tech sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was the Knowledge Director at The GovLab, leading action research, strategic consulting, and training initiatives focused on creating societal value using data and technology across sectors.
Andrew’s work has included the creation of a methodology for leveraging corporate data to benefit the public good, a first-of-its-kind executive education course on institutional data stewardship strategy design and the creation of principles for responsible handling of data for children in humanitarian settings.
Andrew is the author of two books on data governance. He earned his master’s degree in Media, Culture and Communication from New York University, and his BA in English from Pennsylvania State University.
