Tania Polonnowita Wettimuny is the Group Managing Director of IAS Holdings (Pvt) Limited, a leading company from Sri Lanka focused on freight forwarding, logistics, contract logistics and consultancy.

Tania began her career as an intern in a logistics company, gaining experience and skill sets relevant to logistics and supply chain management. After holding several managerial-level positions during her two-decade career, she decided to shape her own path as an entrepreneur in the industry, founding IAS Holdings in 2016 and starting operations in 2018.

IAS Holdings is witnessing exponential growth, having a market capitalization of LKR20 billion and employing more than 300 personnel across four companies. Under Tania's leadership, the company has been successful in securing joint ventures with numerous multinational logistics and supply chain companies, including two joint ventures (JV’s) with international partners and two wholly Sri Lankan brands. One such joint venture is with Hong Kong- based Kerry Logistics — Asia's premier logistics service provider and ranked 6th globally.

Tania has won the Presidential Award for the Most Outstanding Export-Oriented Women Entrepreneur 2022 — Services and Silver Award in the large enterprise category at the Women's Chamber of Industry & Commerce "Prathibabhisheka" women entrepreneur awards. She was also awarded Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year for 2022 at the CEO Magazine’s Award Ceremony held in February 2023.
