Janez is Country Managing Partner of EY Slovenia with over 25 years of experience in the fields of Audit, Strategy and Transactions, and Consulting in Slovenia, Croatia and the UK. He joined EY Slovenia in 2004.
Janez is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered accountant with the Slovenian Institute of Auditors. He has many years of experience with Auditing clients in various industries including Banking and Insurance industry and outstanding expertise in SAS (Slovene Accounting Standards), IFRS, capital markets and various transaction services.
With his expertise in mergers, acquisitions and sales, he has also provided consulting services to various national as well as international clients.

Janez is building a better working world by providing audit services to many Slovenian-based banking and insurance groups, which helps built trust in the Slovenian banking and insurance market, and in the capital markets in general.
He also contributes to a better working world by leading the Slovenian EY Office in accordance with our purpose and misson.
