Organizations will have to:
- Establish channels for receiving the reports which are designed and operated in a secure manner that ensures the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person and prevents access to reporting records to non-authorized staff members.
- Establish appropriate system that enables receiving and handling reporting breaches and that is designed in a manner that ensures the completeness and archiving of related documentation. The system shall prevent access to non-authorized staff members and ensure archiving and deletion of data after the statutory deadline.
- Designate a person who will be in charge of receiving reports, who will maintain communication with the reporting person, where necessary, ask for further information, and provide feedback to that reporting person.
- Adopt an internal act that will define procedures for receiving, handling, and following up on reports.
