Richard Clough is the EY Global Chief Data Officer, mobilizing the AI Ready Data Strategy and AI Ready Data Governance. Reporting to Joe Depa, Richard focuses on leveraging data as part of Applied Innovation to achieve tangible growth and value for EY and its clients.
By building robust AI ready data foundations, using synthetic data and partnering across the EY tech alliance ecosystem, Richard translates the EY AI Ready Data Strategy into actionable steps that drive clients forward.
Richard has been with EY since 2007, working across service lines, financial services and tax transformation for leading global organizations.
Prior to that, he conducted Business Unit Tax planning, forecasting, compliance and reporting in a fast-paced, transaction-intensive environment at GE Capital.
He is a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), with an MA in Corporate Strategy and a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
