Mads is an associate partner, lawyer, and AI lead at EY Tax & Law.
Mads heads the law firm's technology initiative, which includes artificial intelligence, digital assets, and the transformation of legal departments.
The work with artificial intelligence involves how i) EY use the technology in our daily work, ii) clients' legal and tax departments adopting the technology, and iii) companies' risk and governance management. Mads led the development of EY's standard for trustworthy artificial intelligence for Norwegian enterprises, published in conjunction with the think tank Langsikt in June 2024.
In his work with Legal Operations and Managed Services, Mads assists legal departments with strategic decisions, automation of processes, and selection of technical solutions. He regularly holds roundtables for legal leaders.
Mads has worked with digital assets for many years and is considered one of Norway's leading attorneys in the use of blockchain technology and the financial regulatory classification of crypto assets.
